These Terms govern your access to and use of StrokeX (the "Service"), including the app, website/portal, and any related device firmware features.
StrokeX is a private, invite-only beta operated by an individual developer ("Operator"). Accounts are manually created for selected testers.
The Service is experimental and provided for testing and evaluation. You understand that:

You retain ownership of your raw swing/sensor data you submit.
If you enable Training Mode or otherwise provide training sensor data, you grant the Operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:
Where feasible, the Operator will use de-identified/pseudonymous training data for model improvement.
You acknowledge that the Service may create derived artifacts (e.g., model weights, aggregated datasets, algorithm improvements). Even if you later request deletion, those derived artifacts may not be practically reversible to remove your specific contribution.
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant the Operator permission to use them without restriction or compensation.
If you use any sensor hardware or attach devices to golf equipment:
The Service may rely on third-party infrastructure (e.g., hosting/storage providers). The Operator is not responsible for third-party outages or acts outside the Operator's reasonable control.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."

Upon termination, your right to use the Service stops. You may request export/deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
Venue: If a dispute proceeds in court, it must be brought in state or federal courts located in California, unless prohibited by applicable law.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. If changes are material, we will try to notify you via email or in-app/portal notice.
